Terms of Use
Version 2026-10-16 · last updated 16 October 2026
FamleeTime is a private place for a family to share photos, videos, updates, recipes, traditions and a calendar. By creating an account or using FamleeTime you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Who can use FamleeTime
- You must be at least 13 years old to have an account. If we learn that someone younger has one, we will close it.
- FamleeTime is invite-only. You join a family through an invitation or a join link from one of its members, and a family's owners decide who belongs to it.
- One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
- A family member who is too young for an account may appear in a profile that an adult in the family creates for them. Only add a child if you are their parent or guardian, or you have their parent's or guardian's say-so, and only share what the family should see.
Your content
- What you post is yours. You give FamleeTime permission to store it, back it up, resize or convert it (for example, to play a video on a phone) and show it to the families you shared it with. We may also look at it when that is needed to find and fix a fault. We don't use it for anything else.
- Posts, comments and profiles are shared with the families you belong to, and with nobody outside them. A post is shared with every family you belong to when you post it.
- Only post what you have the right to share. Don't post other people's private information, or photos and videos of someone who wouldn't want them shared with the family.
- You can delete your own posts and comments at any time.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
There is no place on FamleeTime for objectionable content or abusive behaviour, and we have zero tolerance for it. That includes:
- sexual content, nudity or anything that sexualises a person, and above all anything that sexualises or endangers a child (we remove it at once, close the account and report it to the authorities where the law requires);
- harassment, bullying, stalking or intimidation of another member;
- hateful or abusive content aimed at a person or group;
- violence, threats, or content that promotes harming yourself or others;
- pretending to be someone you are not;
- spam, scams, or content that is illegal where you or we are;
- using FamleeTime to harm, track or take advantage of anyone, or to get around a block, a removal or a closed account.
If you break these rules we may remove the content, warn you, or close your account straight away, and for the most serious cases we will not give a warning.
Reporting, blocking and removing content
- Report. Every post, comment and profile that isn't yours has a Report control. Choose what is wrong and send it. We review every report within 72 hours of receiving it, and we remove content and close accounts that break these Terms.
- Block. Choose Block on a member's post or profile and you stop seeing their posts, comments, boops and calendar requests, and they can't boop you or ask you for time. They aren't told. You can undo it any time in Settings → Blocked members.
- Remove. A family's owners can remove a post or comment from their family when it shouldn't be there. It is hidden from that family; its author can still delete it everywhere.
- If you can't use these, or it is urgent, contact us on the support page.
Plans and payment
A family has a paid plan, bought by one of its owners and processed by Stripe. Members who are invited into a family don't pay. The plan's price, storage and number of members are shown where the plan is bought. The plan renews until its owner cancels it, and it can be cancelled at any time from the family's billing page, effective at the end of the period already paid for. If a plan lapses or its storage is full, we may stop new photos and videos from being added until it is sorted out. If a payment is more than 30 days past due, we freeze any content beyond the family's current storage limit (it stays, but nothing more can be added); if it is more than 60 days past due, we may delete the family's content. In the mobile apps, buying or changing a plan is done on the website.
Calendar connections
Connecting an outside calendar or meeting service is optional. You can disconnect it at any time, and deleting your account disconnects it too.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself, at any time: open Settings (in the app, the More tab) and choose Delete account. You choose whether what you've shared stays with your families or is deleted for good. Deleting it also deletes your blocks; a report you sent that we haven't reviewed yet stays, without your name, so we can finish reviewing it. See how to delete your account and the Privacy Policy for what is kept. We may also suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When the change matters, we will ask you to accept the new version before you can post again. Using FamleeTime after a change that doesn't need you to accept again means you accept it.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep FamleeTime running and your memories safe, but we provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using it, or from what other members post. Nothing here limits any rights you have by law that can't be limited.
